One of the most beautiful sights of Vatika, is Lake Round.

Located Viglafia, the coast opposite Elafonisso and is another important milestone on the path of migratory birds, in southeastern Laconia.

The lake, is included in the European network of protected areas Natura 2000, but not in the wetlands Ramsar.

Recorded 80 bird species of which 17 nest here.

Depending on the season, the visitor can see species such, ospreys, flamingos, Glossy Ibis, swans etc.. Around the poppies of various rare "seabirds".
